ABOUT
Mohlet Muslumov is a Tar performer, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2005). He is currently a Professor at the Mugham Department of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory and the artistic director of the A. Bakikhanov Folk Instruments Ensemble of the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Company. M.Muslumov has been representing Azerbaijani music in the world for many years.

His masterful performances at various international festivals and competitions are met with great success. Mr.Muslumov is continuosly invited to perform in Turkey, Russia, France, USA, Canada, England, Italy, Scotland, Belgium, Hungary, Thailand, Israel, India, Tunisia, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Qatar, Jordan, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, all of the former USSR.

He was hailed as a brilliant performer of Azerbaijani music. More than 20 CDs with his performances have been released in foreign countries. Tape recordings are still kept in the funds of national radio and foreign radio archives. M.Muslumov was awarded the title of People's Artist in 2005, Presidential Award since 2006, and a Personal Fellowship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2009.
