My Teaching Philosophy
My aspirations as a violin instructor are to enable students to identify, understand, and assess challenges they contend to search for possible solutions. I am a proponent of self-directed learning, and intentionally create situations in class that allow the students to learn through the unconventional approach.

I encourage students to come up with their own exercises and possible
solutions for any challenge they encounter. In order to measure their learning, I require students to demonstrate the process of searching for possible solutions in class. The beauty and novelty of the solution that emerged in the process of solving complex tasks can bring an astounding joy of creativity. According to researchers, nature connectedness increases intrinsic aspirations, such as personal growth, problem-solving, and positive relations with others.

My primary role as instructor is to instill confidence in students, give impetus to ensure that they are constantly growing artistically, self-educating and improving, impose love for solving difficult tasks, and exploring the world around us. It is important to be able to convey to students that everything interesting is challenging, and everything that is challenging – interesting!
